Saints are a heavenly price against the woeful travelling Dons

Craig Brown's Aberdeen travel to Perth on Tuesday to face 4th placed St Johnstone in the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League. The Dons currently sit 10th in the league some 12 points and six places behind the hosts, Steve Lomas' St Johnstone. In Lomas' short term in charge on the McDiarmid Park club they have claimed 7 points from an available 12 which included a deserved point at Ibrox. Aberdeen come into the fixture on the back on a winless streak which now stretches back six games.

Fraser Fyvie
(Frazer Fyvie, suspended)

Aberdeen will be without the suspended Fraser Fyvie following his injury time dismissal in the Dons' last outing against St Mirren, Fyvie's exclusion is likely to mean Peter Pawlett will get a start. St Johnstone are looking to bounce back following the defeat agains third placed Motherwell last time out where they lost 3-0, Lomas is unlikely to ring the changes, keeping faith with the same XI with McCracken likely to continue to fill in for Frazer Wright who is still sidelined following the first half injury he sustained against Hearts.

Craig Brown will be hoping to steer the Dons to their first away victory of the season. Having played on the road on 8 occasions in the league this season they have claimed just two points. They were successful in drawing against Dunfermline and Hibernian - the only sides currently below them in the league. We see no reason why Brown's misery will stop, and think that St Johnstone will secure all 3 points against Aberdeen who, it's worth noting, have only found then net 4 times away from Pittodrie this campaign, Victor Chandler are offering a juicy 5/4 that St Johnstone win this one. The HT/FT 13/5 being offered by bet365 is tempting although we've decided to stick to the straight victory.

Selection
St Johnstone to beat Aberdeen at 5/4 (Victor Chandler)
