Woah there Tigers!

There's another action packed weekend of football with plenty of games throughout the leagues, there are lots of managers under pressure & in need of wins & that means that there's plenty of storylines in most games. As usual we've looked through the leagues for the best bets available by searching through the stats & form & think we've found a few crackers this time around. Follow us on Twitter @likebuyingmoney to join in with the discussions & keep up to date with our latest posts.

(Nick Barmby - Hull's caretaker manager, that happiness will soon be beaten out of him)

In the Championship, Hull City host Millwall at the KC Stadium. The Tigers currently sit in the play-off places whilst Millwall are languishing in 19th just three points outside the final relegation spot. Caretaker manager Nick Barmby who has taken up the reins after Nigel Pearson return to Leicester; has a 67% win ratio after four wins in his six games in charge. The two defeats came after they threw away a 2-0 lead after 76 minutes against Burnley & a 2-1 loss away at league leaders Southampton. They have won three on the bounce against Leicester, Birmingham & Coventry and their current home form reads four wins from six with eleven goals scored. Visitors Millwall had a decent 0-0 draw at home to form side Cardiff but have found wins hard to come by in recent weeks with only one in their last six against 23rd place Doncaster. Their away form has seen them pick up only six points in their ten league games & their record against sides in the top ten has seen only one win in their eight games. We feel Hull will be too strong for Millwall & win their fourth game on the trot at the best price of evens.

(Will the two Hughes destroy yet another League One side?)
Down in League One, Notts County entertain Leyton Orient at Meadow Lane. The Magpies are just outside of the play-off places & will be looking to continue their fine home record this season. Out of their nine games at Meadow Lane they have won six, drawn two & suffered one defeat to table toppers Charlton. They have scored 19 goals in these matches & will be looking for the two Hughes, Lee & Jeff, to continue their fine goalscoring form in front of the home faithful. Leyton Orient sit in 17th place & have struggled for wins this season with only five in their 20 matches. They had a good 3-0 victory over fellow strugglers Exeter last weekend; taking advantage of two penalties but it was their first goals in their last four matches in all competitions. On the road they have a modest record with two wins, four draws & three defeats & conceding 14 goals in the process. On their home patch Notts County are a formidable outfit at this level & will have enough to ease pass an average Leyton Orient side at 19/20 with William Hill.

(David 'Junior' Hoilett - the boy's got some skills & can help Blackburn to their 3rd win of the season)

It's a stat that not many people would notice unless really looking at the league table but Blackburn Rovers have only been outscored by the top 5 in the league & high flying Norwich, they look to be a very reasonable price to come out victorious at home to West Bromwich Albion. Many people seem to be relishing Blackburn's current woes after being taken over by Indian owners Venkys & in particular the struggles for manager Steve Kean especially but we think that they have more than enough to stay up if they can get back to their best defensively as their forward players are doing the business. This looks a good game for Blackburn as West Brom are the league's joint lowest scorers with 14 goals in their 15 games so far & they suffered a bad loss at home to Wigan last weekend. Roy Hodgson has a tendency to make his teams impressivel defensively & West Brom aren't bad but they've been badly let down at the front due to form & injury problems for Peter Odemwingie & Shane Long has been inadequately backed up from midfield. Blackburn meanwhile have made the signing of the season with Yakubu getting back to the goalscoring form that saw him score 76 times in his first 183 Premier League games for distinctly average teams, he's backed up by the impressive Junior Hoilett & Morten Gamst Pederson is always worth a few goals a season. Clearly Blackburn have conceded way too many goals with 34 in the against column but West Brom really aren't firing & we think Rovers are worth a punt at 7/5 to win this one.

Selections:
Hull City to beat Millwall at evens (bet365 & Victor Chandler)
Notts County to beat Leyton Orient at 19/20 (William Hill)
Take the double as well as the singles on the above games - it pays just under 3/1
Blackburn Rovers to beat West Bromwich Albion at 7/5 (Victor Chandler)
